Bonita Valley Horsemen is a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of promoting the acquisition, development, preservation and maintenance of trails in the Bonita area in southern San Diego County. It is the only organization in the world with this sole purpose.
BVH was started in 1969, with 25 founding members/families. The club has been responsible for the development of major trails and trail-user amenities in Bonita. All trail users—equestrians, bicyclists, walkers, hikers and runners—benefit from our efforts.
We are a group of equestrians who not only ride the trails of Bonita, but also maintain them. Without appreciative and caring people being involved in protecting our trails, the trails will be lost.
